Q: How many times have you used your Vortex Blender during the test period?
A: My family and I have used it at least 5 to 6 times at home.
Q: What type of meals or drinks did you blend?
A: We’ve used it to blend breakfast shakes and pancake batter which we would make when camping, plus crush ice for margaritas.
Q: How hard or easy is the Vortex Blender to use?
A: It is very easy to use and blending the pancake batter and shakes was a snap. It makes a very nice frothy blend, which my son likes as he uses it in the morning for the shakes.
To crush ice we learnt it was best to start on the lower gear setting and then after some initial grinding, switch over to the higher gear setting, which is what I could easily do on my own. If you start on the high setting it does require some muscle a.k.a my husband.
Q: How easy was it to clean and how would you rate the overall build quality?
A: It was very easy to clean and is very well built.
Q: Do you believe this is a useful item to take camping and would you recommend it to your fellow campers?
A: Most definitely. We will be taking it with us this summer for sure when camping and I would recommend it to any camper who would like to have pancakes in the morning.
